Bliv Review: What “No Contracts” Means for Renewals, Orders and Refunds

Bliv advertises GLP-1 access without long-term commitments, but its written terms separate subscription cancellation from prescription orders—and put important refund boundaries before pharmacy transmission.

The most important moment in Bliv’s enrollment process may not be the first payment or the arrival of a package. It may be when an approved prescription is transmitted to a pharmacy. Under the platform’s terms, that event changes a medication order from refundable to nonrefundable. Meanwhile, canceling a subscription does not automatically cancel an outstanding prescription, laboratory order or clinical appointment. Those distinctions matter more to an enrollment decision than the advertising phrase “No Contracts,” which Bliv uses to describe the absence of long-term commitments and cancellation fees.

Bliv presents itself as a U.S. telehealth platform offering access to GLP-1 evaluations and prescriptions, advertising semaglutide and tirzepatide. This documentary review examines its enrollment obligations, payment disclosures and division of responsibilities rather than recommending treatment. Public documentation was consulted October 19, 2026; the terms and policies identify October 15, 2026, as their effective date. The documents offer unusually specific refund rules, but they do not establish a complete treatment price, the exact product a particular patient would receive or the detailed conditions of every advertised plan.

Start with the cancellation boundary, not the slogan

Bliv’s marketing says there are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees. Its terms nevertheless create a binding agreement and provide for automatic renewal of paid subscriptions at the then-current price. Cancellation can be initiated in account settings, through the relevant app store if enrollment occurred there, or by contacting support. It becomes effective at the end of the current billing period, with access continuing until then. The useful interpretation is flexibility to stop future subscription periods, not an absence of contractual obligations or a promise that every current charge can be reversed.

There is also more than one thing to cancel. Ending the subscription does not itself stop a pending prescription order, laboratory order or clinical appointment. Someone who wants to leave should therefore ask about each outstanding item rather than assume the account cancellation covers everything. The consulted documentation does not establish a specific advance-notice deadline, so readers should confirm the applicable renewal date and purchase terms. Our guide to cancellation, renewal dates and order status explains why those separate checks matter. Keeping a dated cancellation confirmation would make the resulting account status easier to document.

Identify who owes which service

The agreement is with Metabody Services, LLC, doing business as Bliv. That company describes itself as a technology and management services business—not a healthcare provider—and says it does not employ or control the treating clinicians’ clinical judgment. Evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, laboratory orders, refills and follow-up are assigned to Metabody Medical P.A. and affiliated professional entities. This is a meaningful allocation of responsibility: a billing or account issue is not necessarily handled by the same organization that decides whether a prescription or refill is appropriate.

The terms name separate entities for California, New Jersey and New York, Kansas, Colorado and Texas, with Metabody Medical P.A. assigned to other states. That organizational map is not an unconditional availability guarantee. Clinical services depend on the medical groups having licensed clinicians in the patient’s state, and Bliv reserves the ability to restrict, suspend or discontinue services by state. Users must be at least 18, able to contract, U.S. residents and physically in the United States when using the service. Before enrollment, establish which medical entity would treat you and which channel handles clinical questions versus account requests.

Enrollment purchases a process, not a guaranteed prescription

Bliv describes an online medical intake reviewed by a U.S.-licensed provider, advertising no phone call or video visit. It says a clinician generally reviews health answers and, if appropriate, writes a prescription “usually within a day.” Those are descriptions of the advertised workflow, not a guaranteed acceptance or approval deadline. The terms expressly say requesting care does not guarantee acceptance as a patient, an evaluation, medication or an outcome. A clinician may request more information, laboratory testing or an in-person visit, decline to prescribe or discontinue treatment using professional judgment.

Before clinical services, patients must consent to telehealth and acknowledge the medical groups’ Notice of Privacy Practices. The linked telehealth consent itself was not available in the consulted documentation, preventing an assessment of its state-specific provisions. Bliv also does not document complete GLP-1 eligibility or exclusion criteria in these pages. These are practical reasons to read the actual consent and purchase screen before paying, rather than treating a short intake as the complete agreement. The enrollment terms checklist provides a framework for separating consent to care, purchase authorization and recurring billing.

The advertised monthly figures do not resolve the purchase

Bliv advertises semaglutide as low as $116 per month and tirzepatide as low as $199 per month, with both figures conditioned on plan structure and eligibility. Elsewhere, the page advertises starting a GLP-1 consultation as low as $58 per month and a limited-time 50% discount. The consulted pages do not explain how those messages connect, identify the discount’s reference price or duration, or establish the product and commitment behind the $58 figure. They also do not specify route, presentation, concentration, additional ingredients or supply quantity for a particular purchase. None of these figures is a verified all-inclusive quote.

A separate financing advertisement starts as low as $29 per month on eligible plans, listing CareCredit at 24 months and 0%, plus Klarna split payments. Those are payment alternatives, not evidence that treatment itself costs $29 monthly; the financed principal and total payable are not documented here. Bliv’s terms defer prices, billing frequency, renewal terms and inclusions to checkout. They also specify self-pay care and products, with no insurance, Medicare or Medicaid billing unless expressly stated, and no assurance of HSA/FSA eligibility or reimbursement. Request a written GLP-1 quote covering first and subsequent charges, financing terms, evaluation, laboratory work, medication and supplies.

Refund rights change as care and fulfillment proceed

The evaluation policy is comparatively clear. If the clinician determines someone is not a treatment candidate or declines to treat them, the evaluation fee is refunded in full. Once the evaluation is completed and treatment has been offered, that fee is generally nonrefundable unless different terms were stated at purchase. Medication follows a separate sequence: no charge before a clinician approves a prescription, then a full-refund cancellation opportunity until the prescription is transmitted to the pharmacy. After transmission, medication is nonrefundable. Waiting until dispatch or delivery to ask about cancellation would therefore miss the documented medication-refund boundary.

Subscription fees, program fees and AI credits already charged generally are neither refunded nor prorated, subject to state-law requirements or different purchase disclosures. The terms do provide for refunding prepaid, unused amounts if Bliv terminates an account without cause or withdraws a paid service from the patient’s state. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days; that does not promise arrival in a bank account within that period. These distinctions make Bliv’s refund boundaries and exclusions worth reviewing by charge type. A successful subscription cancellation alone is not evidence that an evaluation or medication refund has been approved.

Confirm the product and pharmacy before the order advances

Bliv’s commercial page says medications prescribed through the platform are compounded and dispensed by licensed U.S. pharmacies with a valid prescription. Its terms use narrower language: some medications may be compounded. That difference remains unresolved for a particular order. The terms say a clinician will prescribe a compounded medication only when considered clinically appropriate and will discuss the reasons with the patient. They also say the preparing pharmacy’s name and contact information appear on the prescription label and in order details. The public documentation does not name the pharmacy that would handle an individual order.

Prescriptions are filled through pharmacies or outsourcing facilities selected by the medical groups, independent of the platform operator; dispensing is governed by their terms and state pharmacy law. Ask for the exact product description and applicable pharmacy terms before the nonrefundable stage. FDA explains that compounded preparations are not FDA approved and recommends them when a patient’s medical needs cannot be met by an approved drug. That recommendation is not a categorical legal conclusion, and nonapproval alone does not establish clinical inequivalence. Neither the medication names nor Bliv’s marketing establish that a specific order matches an approved product or has demonstrated provider-specific outcomes.

Delivery creates another set of responsibilities

Bliv advertises free shipping, discreet packaging and shipment to the patient’s door, typically within three to five days. The documentation does not establish whether that interval begins at approval, pharmacy transmission or package departure, so it should not be treated as a guaranteed arrival date. It is also distinct from the advertised clinical review time. The terms limit shipment to the U.S. address provided and assign patients responsibility for accurate address information, receiving shipments and proper storage. Prescription products cannot be returned, and the terms disclaim responsibility for certain carrier, weather and post-delivery handling problems.

Alongside those limitations, Bliv promises a replacement at no charge when a shipment arrives damaged, incorrect or unusable and the problem is reported within seven days. If the pharmacy cannot fill a prescription, the policy offers a full medication-charge refund or, if the patient prefers, an alternative approved by the clinician. The consulted pages do not describe a carrier or detailed refrigeration procedure. FDA explicitly advises not using an injectable GLP-1 product that arrives warm or inadequately refrigerated and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy. That safety advice remains important even when a shipment is covered by a replacement policy.

Ongoing support needs a clearer service description

Bliv promises individualized assessments and ongoing clinical support, but the consulted pages do not specify follow-up frequency, clinical response times or refill requirements. They advertise phone support and a Skool community with dietitian-led nutrition guidance and a user forum, without establishing the community’s cost. If laboratory testing is ordered, the terms assign it to independent laboratories described as CLIA-certified, with results delivered through the platform and to the clinician. Whether testing is included in a particular plan remains unclear. These service details matter because a recurring payment is not itself a description of continuing clinical care.

For contact, the terms publish 888-859-2882 and a mailing address at 2943 Parkway Blvd, Unit 374, West Valley City, UT 84119; email addresses were obscured in the consulted text. Bliv’s AI assistant is expressly informational and does not prescribe or make clinical decisions. Its privacy policy says identifiable personal information is not used to train AI models, while permitting de-identified data use to improve its own models and features. Most medical records are described as available in the account; other copy requests go to the Privacy Officer, with a 30-day response period, a possible noticed 30-day extension and potential cost-based copying fees.

Questions & answers

Does Bliv’s “No Contracts” claim mean there is no automatic renewal?

No. Bliv advertises no long-term commitments or cancellation fees, but its terms say paid subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period. Check the checkout disclosures for your plan’s billing interval and renewal date, and retain confirmation that renewal has been stopped.

Sources: [2] [4]
What happens if Bliv’s clinician does not approve treatment?

The terms promise a full evaluation-fee refund if the clinician determines you are not a candidate or declines to treat you. Medication is not charged before prescription approval. However, once an evaluation has been completed and treatment offered, the evaluation fee generally is nonrefundable. Confirm the evaluation amount and the status of each charge rather than assuming every payment follows the same rule.

Sources: [4]
Can I cancel medication after canceling my Bliv subscription?

Subscription cancellation does not automatically cancel medication. A medication order can be canceled for a full refund before the prescription is transmitted to the pharmacy; after transmission, it is nonrefundable under the terms. Ask support specifically whether transmission has occurred and request separate confirmation about the medication order. The same subscription cancellation also does not automatically stop a pending laboratory order or clinical appointment.

Sources: [4]
Is Bliv’s $29 monthly financing figure the treatment price?

The documentation does not establish that. The $29 figure is a starting financing payment for eligible plans, alongside advertised CareCredit and Klarna options. Separately, Bliv advertises semaglutide from $116 monthly and tirzepatide from $199 monthly, conditioned on plan structure and eligibility. Request the financed principal, payment schedule, total payable and treatment inclusions before comparing a financing installment with a medication-plan price.

Sources: [2]
Can I choose a pharmacy or confirm the exact formulation publicly?

The terms say the medical groups select pharmacy partners; they do not establish a patient option to use any outside pharmacy. The preparing pharmacy’s details should appear on the label and in order details. Public documentation does not resolve the route, concentration, presentation or supply quantity of a specific order. Ask for those details and the applicable pharmacy terms before the prescription reaches the nonrefundable transmission stage.

Sources: [4] [2]
What should I do about an unusable or warm delivery?

Bliv says to report damaged, incorrect or unusable shipments within seven days for a no-charge replacement. For an injectable GLP-1 product arriving warm or inadequately refrigerated, FDA explicitly recommends not using it and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy. Keep the delivery and packaging details available when reporting the problem. The replacement promise does not establish that every delivered product is suitable to use.

Our assessment

Bliv’s strongest contractual feature is its separation of evaluation refunds, medication cancellation, subscription cancellation and shipment remedies. It also identifies the platform operator, clinical entities and pharmacy responsibilities more clearly than its short marketing slogans do. Those disclosures give prospective patients concrete questions to ask and identifiable events to track. The main weaknesses are unresolved purchase details: the relationship among advertised prices, the total financed amount, exact product specifications, included services and ongoing follow-up obligations. “No Contracts” should therefore be read as a marketing description of flexibility, not a substitute for the binding terms. Before enrolling, obtain a written purchase summary and establish how to stop both renewal and any pending orders. Bliv documents a plausible telehealth service structure, but these pages alone do not establish clinical outcomes, independently verify credentials or show that any particular plan offers good value for an individual.
