A medication that has not shipped may already be beyond the provider’s cancellation window. CoreAge Rx makes that distinction particularly explicit: its policy says prescription sales become final after clinician approval and transmission to the pharmacy, even before shipment. Found uses a different boundary for medications and laboratory kits: dispensing or shipping. For someone reconsidering an order, waiting for a tracking email can therefore mean waiting past the relevant contractual event.
This guide examines public documentation from CoreAge Rx, Ro, Enhance.MD, Sesame, Walgreens and Found, consulted October 19, 2026. Their processes illustrate why paying for an evaluation, receiving a prescription and obtaining medication should not be treated as one transaction. The goal is practical contract preparation, not a legal conclusion or treatment recommendation: identify the responsible organization, the order’s current status and the rule attached to that status before assuming a payment can be reversed.

Start with the event that closes cancellation
CoreAge Rx’s order-cancellation policy requires three conditions: the prescription has not been approved, the order has not been transmitted to the pharmacy, and the order has not otherwise become nonrefundable under its 30-day documentation policy. After both approval and transmission, the policy says the order cannot be canceled, returned or refunded. Separately, it makes orders nonrefundable 30 calendar days after purchase, even if incomplete or unshipped, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Found’s medication rule instead names dispensing or shipment as its nonrefund boundary. Neither company’s language makes delivery the decisive event. Ask support to identify the actual status and timestamp rather than answering only whether a package has left. A useful cancellation request should also distinguish the current order from future subscription charges. Our guide to cancellation notice and order status explains why stopping a renewal and reversing an existing purchase are different requests.
| Stage | Documented example | Question to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Consultation | Walgreens charges for visits separately from medication. | What service has the payment purchased? |
| Prescribing | Enhance.MD says payment does not guarantee a prescription. | Has a clinician approved treatment? |
| Transmission | CoreAge Rx links final sale to approval plus pharmacy transmission. | When was the order sent, and to whom? |
| Dispensing | Found names dispensing or shipping as its medication refund boundary. | Has the pharmacy already dispensed it? |
| Dispatch | Ro describes partner-pharmacy shipment within a week once prescribed. | Is this a dispatch estimate or an arrival estimate? |
Identify who owes which service
The storefront brand is not necessarily the clinical practice or the dispensing pharmacy. CoreAge Rx identifies DSO Fine Shrimp as its technology and administrative coordinator, while assigning evaluation, treatment planning and prescribing exclusively to three independent professional entities. Enhance.MD likewise describes an administrative platform supporting separate medical groups. Its footer names Enhance Wellness PC and iThriveMD PC; its terms additionally name EnhanceMD CA, PC. Those differences justify asking which practice will actually provide your consultation.
Sesame says its affiliated practices are independently owned and operated by clinicians and expressly states that Sesame is not a pharmacy. Walgreens Health Services LLC similarly describes administrative services for independent, physician-owned practices, with clinical control resting with those practices and their clinicians. These are organizational statements from the companies, not independently verified credentials. A responsibility map for platforms, clinicians and pharmacies can help organize separate questions about medical review, billing, prescription transmission and dispensing.
A paid evaluation is not an approved prescription
Enhance.MD expressly says payment guarantees neither prescribing nor dispensing. Its FAQ describes payment after the intake form and before a virtual meeting. Other documentation places Quest Diagnostics testing before the video consultation, with results triggering an email to schedule the appointment. Identity verification is also necessary for care, including a full-face photograph and government-issued identification. These are separate onboarding obligations, not evidence that a paid order is ready for pharmacy fulfillment.
Ro’s assessment asks about medical history, lifestyle and goals; a provider determines eligibility and may request metabolic testing. Sesame describes a video consultation, with laboratory testing if metabolic information is needed, and disclaims any guaranteed prescription. Walgreens also conditions prescribing on medical evaluation by a doctor or nurse practitioner. Across these examples, an intake confirmation or payment receipt should not be read as a prescribing decision, much less confirmation that a pharmacy has accepted an order.
Establish what the first payment buys
Ro Body separates membership from medication. It advertises $39 for the first month, followed by $149 monthly on the monthly plan, or as low as a $74 monthly equivalent with annual prepayment. Medication is additional. The pricing page both promises to refund the initial $39 if someone is ineligible and says membership is charged only if eligible. Those statements leave the precise collection sequence unresolved; they should not be silently combined into an assumed billing process.
Walgreens offers a different structure: no subscription is required, initial visits start at $49, and follow-up chat visits and additional video visits cost $49 each, excluding medication. CoreAge Rx’s FAQ is internally inconsistent about collection, explaining payment before clinical review in one place and medication billing at shipment in another. Before paying, request the service description, collection timing and any separately retained consultation fee. A written GLP-1 quote is more useful than a headline monthly price alone.
Confirm the pharmacy route before transmission
CoreAge Rx’s pharmacy instructions conflict. Its FAQ says prescriptions currently must use its affiliated network and cannot go to a local pharmacy. Its terms say patients can direct prescriptions to a pharmacy of their choosing by emailing support@coreagerx.com before completing the order. The FAQ does not identify the pharmacy for a particular patient, instead directing that question to support. A preference recorded after payment may therefore arrive later than the terms’ stated request point.
Enhance.MD allows an outside pharmacy but says that pharmacy will bill medication costs directly. Its FAQ names Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub; its terms name Rite-Away Pharmacy, Vios Compounding Pharmacy, TruMedsRx and others. Ro permits a preferred pharmacy and warns that a downloadable prescription copy is for reference, not filling or transfer. Sesame names Truepill for facilitated delivery and directs patients seeking its described reduced cash-price Wegovy route to NovoCare. Pharmacy choice can change the payment channel, not merely the destination.
Keep coverage approval separate from pharmacy fulfillment
Ro describes benefits verification and prior-authorization paperwork taking typically one to three weeks, with a separate estimate of one to two weeks for insurer review of a prior-authorization request. After coverage is determined, its concierge sends the prescription to the pharmacy. A denial may lead to an appeal; absent coverage, patients can choose cash-pay medication or cancel membership. None of those steps establishes inventory or a guaranteed delivery date, and Ro separately describes pharmacy waitlists during shortages.
Found’s insured pathway adds another dependency: synchronous video visits are required before each refill, with an insurance-billed visit copay typically around $30 in addition to the plan price. Cash-pay care is generally asynchronous text without a separate visit copay. Found also says its compounded-medication charges are the patient’s responsibility and may not be submitted to insurance. Thus, a price labeled “with insurance” does not mean the compounded preparation itself is covered.
Separate dispatch estimates from arrival promises
CoreAge Rx estimates order completion in approximately five to seven business days when information is submitted promptly, while separately estimating arrival two to three business days after pharmacy shipment. Its policy explains that review, documentation, approval and pharmacy compounding precede dispatch. Standard shipping is included unless checkout says otherwise. Lost or damaged packages receive case review, with replacement or reshipment when applicable—not an unconditional refund promise. These distinctions matter when an advertised review time sounds much shorter than the full purchase-to-delivery process.
Ro says cash-pay prescriptions routed through its or partner pharmacies ship within a week once prescribed; that is a dispatch estimate. Walgreens’ general same-day and one-to-two-business-day pharmacy delivery services apply only to eligible prescriptions and do not establish GLP-1 eligibility for those routes. Separately, FDA advises not using an injectable GLP-1 that arrives warm or insufficiently refrigerated and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy. A shipment’s contractual status does not resolve a product-condition concern.
Close the renewal loop without assuming a refund
Sesame’s program page permits self-cancellation before the next billing cycle, but its general terms require an email or telephone cancellation at least 48 hours before renewal processing. Those terms preserve access through the paid term without a prorated refund. Enhance.MD’s FAQ describes automatic renewal every 28 days, while product pages also advertise billing every 12, 24 or 48 weeks. Its terms direct patients to checkout for complete subscription conditions. Four weeks is not a calendar month, and these unresolved differences should be settled before enrollment.
Found recommends canceling or pausing at least 48 hours before renewal and makes renewal payments nonrefundable. CoreAge Rx permits cancellation through the account or patient care to prevent future renewals, but that does not undo a final current order. Walgreens’ Medicare Bridge page says approved Walgreens fills are set up for automatic refill the next month, without documenting the deactivation procedure in the consulted material. Review refund guarantees and exclusions separately from renewal controls; the two protections do different work.
Questions & answers
Does CoreAge Rx promise a full refund if the clinician declines treatment?
Its FAQ promises an automatic 100% refund, but the refund policy retains an applicable $50–$100 consultation fee and returns only the refundable treatment or medication portion. Ask which rule applies before payment. Approved refunds are generally processed in five to ten business days; the bank may take additional time to display the money.
Can I take the prescription PDF from Ro to a pharmacy?
Ro says its downloadable prescription copy is informational and cannot be used to fill or transfer the prescription. It also allows prescriptions to be sent to a preferred pharmacy. Ask Ro to arrange the actual routing and confirm receipt with the pharmacy rather than relying on the account download as a fillable order.
What does Enhance.MD’s initial-payment guarantee cover?
Its product documentation promises a 100% refund of the initial payment if onboarding determines that the person is ineligible for the formulation. That is not a general results guarantee or a documented promise to refund unused portions of longer plans. Its FAQ says refund processing usually takes five to ten business days.
When should I cancel Sesame before the first appointment?
The program page offers a full refund for cancellation at least three hours before the initial visit starts and says the first month is not refundable after that visit occurs. Future membership renewal has separate cancellation language, including the general terms’ minimum 48-hour notice. Identify whether your request concerns the appointment, membership or both.
Is Walgreens pharmacy chat the same as a follow-up clinical visit?
No. Walgreens advertises 24/7 pharmacy-expert chat, with possible waiting, and says it is not for emergencies or a substitute for physician advice. Weight Management follow-up chat visits are separately advertised at $49 each. Pharmacy-chat availability does not establish that every interaction is free or that a prescriber is immediately available.
Will Found refund membership if I cannot receive my preferred GLP-1?
Not necessarily. Found says disqualification from one medication does not qualify for a refund if other treatment options remain available; disqualification from all options can qualify. Its general initial-membership refund wording is also ambiguous about the three-day and first-consultation boundaries. Request written clarification rather than assuming a preferred-drug denial reverses every charge.
Our assessment
The strongest practical protection is a written account of the transaction: what was purchased, which clinician or practice decides treatment, which pharmacy receives the prescription, and which event closes cancellation. These providers document useful options, including outside-pharmacy routing, separate visit pricing and eligibility-related refunds, but not consistently or interchangeably. Contradictions should remain unresolved until the company clarifies them—not be interpreted in whichever direction seems most favorable. Contract clarity also does not establish clinical quality or outcomes. Before paying, resolve the current-order refund boundary and future-renewal rule separately; after prescribing, obtain pharmacy acceptance and shipping information rather than treating approval as delivery.
