Enhance.MD Review: What Its GLP-1 Subscription Terms Clarify—and Leave Open

Enhance.MD advertises compounded GLP-1 programs with medication, monitoring and shipping bundled together. Its billing schedules, renewal language and limited refund promise deserve a closer read before payment.

The most important number on Enhance.MD’s website is not necessarily its advertised first-month price. It may be the number of weeks between charges. Product pages pair monthly-looking prices with billing every 4, 12, 24 or 48 weeks, while a general FAQ describes automatic renewal every 28 days. For an adult comparing subscriptions, the central question is therefore contractual: what exactly will the first payment purchase, and what obligation continues afterward?

Enhance.MD documents a substantial service: compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, a semaglutide–tirzepatide combination, laboratory testing, telehealth care and pharmacy fulfillment. It also separates the administrative platform from the medical practices delivering care. This review examines public documentation consulted October 19, 2026, focusing on enrollment, billing, cancellation and responsibility. The pages provide useful specifics, but the checkout terms and linked shipping-and-returns policy were not available within the reviewed documentation.

At a glance

Who provides care
Enhance.MD LLC describes itself as an administrative platform, not a medical or pharmacy provider; separate medical groups deliver telehealth care.

Lowest advertised recurring rates
Core is listed at $212/mo, Advanced at $280/mo and Elite at $322/mo on plans labeled 12-month and billed every 48 weeks—not the four-week options.

Renewal discrepancy
The FAQ describes renewal every 28 days; product pages also list billing every 12, 24 and 48 weeks. Their interaction is not explained.
Sources: [5] [3]
Refund boundary
The documented guarantee returns 100% of the initial payment if the patient is found ineligible during onboarding. It is not a general results guarantee.
Sources: [3]
Payment restrictions
Services are cash-pay and not billable to Medicare or Medicaid. The FAQ also says FSA/HSA cards, gift cards and preloaded credit cards are not accepted.

Start with the billing interval, not the headline price

Enhance.MD’s homepage advertises Core semaglutide starting at $112 for the first month and $212 per month afterward, for all doses. Advanced tirzepatide starts at $180 for the first month and $280 afterward. The Core and Advanced product pages attach those lowest recurring rates to plans labeled 12-month, billed every 48 weeks. They should not be read as four-week, freely cancelable subscriptions at the same price.

The table preserves the product pages’ monthly labels and actual billing intervals. For Core, Advanced and Elite, the longer plans advertise savings of 15%, 10% and 5%, respectively, plus $100 off the first order; the one-month plans advertise $50 off the first order. Those are provider promotions, not independently calculated savings. The reviewed material does not specify each long plan’s total initial charge or fully explain the general advertising of up to $150 off.

A plan called 12-month but billed every 48 weeks is not a calendar-year billing interval. Nor does the plan label alone establish the amount collected upfront, medication quantity supplied at once or minimum commitment. Enhance.MD’s same-price-at-every-dose promise addresses dose-related price increases, not differences among plan lengths. Our guide to monthly prices versus billing commitments explains why the checkout amount and renewal date deserve separate confirmation.

Payment can precede the clinical decision

The initial medical intake asks about lifestyle and medical history and is described as free. The FAQ then places payment after the form but before a virtual meeting with a healthcare provider. Medication follows only if the applicant is deemed eligible. That sequence matters: paying is not the same as receiving clinical approval, and Enhance.MD expressly states that payment does not guarantee prescribing or dispensing.

The laboratory sequence adds another step. The how-it-works page says Enhance.MD arranges baseline testing at a nearby Quest Diagnostics facility after intake, identifying a comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid-stimulating hormone, lipids and hemoglobin A1c. The FAQ says results typically reach the service approximately one to two business days after the laboratory appointment and appear in the dashboard. After results arrive, an email directs the patient to schedule a video consultation.

Other pages simplify onboarding into fewer steps, so applicants should confirm which sequence applies to their selected product and when charges begin relative to testing. Identity verification is also required before healthcare services can be delivered, even though an account can be created without it. The FAQ requires a full-face photograph and a government-issued ID photograph. Completing a form, opening an account and qualifying for treatment are distinct milestones.

Cancellation stops renewal; it does not establish a refund

The terms say subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle, with complete subscription and payment terms provided at checkout. Meanwhile, the FAQ says membership automatically renews every 28 days and warns that pausing or canceling affects prescription refills. Neither statement explains how the general renewal language works alongside product plans billed every 12, 24 or 48 weeks. That is a material unresolved question, not merely a wording preference.

The reviewed documentation does not establish a specific cancellation channel, a more detailed advance-notice deadline, prorated refunds or penalties for leaving a longer plan. It also does not resolve whether stopping future renewals changes any already-paid period. Before purchasing, ask for the applicable cancellation instructions and exact next charge date in writing. A useful distinction in our cancellation notice guide is between ending renewal and stopping an order already moving through fulfillment.

The clearest refund promise is narrower: Core’s page promises 100% of the initial payment back if onboarding determines the applicant is ineligible for its formulation. That does not promise reimbursement for disappointing results, later intolerance or every voluntary cancellation. The FAQ says refund processing usually takes five to ten business days; it does not guarantee bank receipt within that period. The guarantee’s trigger is worth saving alongside the checkout terms.

The subscription bundles services, but care timing remains open

Core’s subscription description includes four weeks of semaglutide, ongoing provider care and support, metabolic laboratory testing every six months, essential supplies, wellness coaching and educational platform access. Advanced lists four weeks of compounded tirzepatide with the same service categories, explicitly naming syringes and alcohol pads. Elite lists four weeks of its semaglutide–tirzepatide formulation, ongoing care, six-month laboratory testing, supplies, coaching and educational content.

These descriptions are more informative than a medication-only headline, but four weeks of included medication should not be confused with a calendar month or the full duration of a longer billing plan. Core separately advertises medication delivery every four weeks and free shipping. The reviewed pages do not state a firm period from clinical approval to dispatch or from dispatch to arrival. Delivery frequency describes a recurring schedule, not an individual shipment’s transit time.

The private portal supports reviewing laboratory results and treatment information and communicating with the care team. Nevertheless, the exact frequency and format of follow-up consultations remain unspecified. For a longer paid period, ask what happens if the clinician changes or stops treatment, whether scheduled follow-ups are included, and how billing is handled during an interruption. Those are questions about the purchased service, not requests for a guaranteed prescription.

Identify the medical group and dispensing pharmacy

Enhance.MD LLC describes itself as a patient-management platform providing administrative and operational support. Its footer identifies Enhance Wellness PC and iThriveMD PC as practices whose clinicians deliver telehealth care; the terms additionally name EnhanceMD CA, PC. The platform says it does not provide medical or pharmacy services, employ healthcare providers or influence clinical decisions. Its FAQ describes the clinical team as U.S.-licensed physicians and nurse practitioners, a provider statement rather than independent credential verification.

The pharmacy lists also differ. The FAQ names Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub, while the terms name Rite-Away Pharmacy, Vios Compounding Pharmacy, TruMedsRx and other licensed pharmacies. Neither list establishes which pharmacy will prepare or ship a particular patient’s prescription. The FAQ requires a physical delivery address. It also permits sending a prescription to a pharmacy of the patient’s choice, but says medication costs are then billed directly to the patient.

That alternative pharmacy arrangement is an important exception to the bundled-price presentation. Before selecting it, clarify what subscription charges remain and what the outside pharmacy will charge separately. Our guide to platform, clinician and pharmacy responsibilities offers a framework for keeping those questions distinct. For Enhance.MD specifically, obtain the treating medical group and dispensing pharmacy names rather than assuming the platform handles every clinical or fulfillment decision.

Make sure the selected product matches the quoted contract

The principal offerings are Core semaglutide injection, Advanced compounded tirzepatide and Elite, an injectable formulation combining semaglutide and tirzepatide. The pages describe GLP-1 administration as subcutaneous injection. Marketing positions the tiers for different goals or prior treatment experiences, but those descriptions are not evidence that one Enhance.MD formulation will produce better outcomes for a particular patient. The exact formulation should be identified on the purchase record, not inferred from a tier name.

Tirzepatide microdosing has different logistics: its page describes medication delivered every 12 weeks with ongoing provider oversight. It lists $169/mo, $179/mo and $189/mo for plans labeled 12, 6 and 3 months, billed every 48, 24 and 12 weeks. A one-month block says billing occurs every four weeks without an unequivocal rate in that block. Its FAQ also acknowledges that fewer side effects are not guaranteed and individual responses vary.

NAD+ is a separate offering, not another name for GLP-1 treatment. The homepage advertises subcutaneous NAD+ injections starting at $169 per month, while product pages also describe sublingual, quick-dissolving NAD+ wafers. Because NAD+ blocks appear interspersed with GLP-1 material, not every secondary price can be confidently assigned to a selection. Ask whether NAD+ is optional, separately charged or included in the specific order; its appearance nearby does not settle that.

Check location, payment method and support before enrolling

The terms restrict access to adults 18 or older located in states where services are offered. Although the FAQ makes an all-50-states licensing claim, its availability list is narrower: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MT, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY, subject to product availability.

The FAQ publishes minimum BMI criteria of 25 for new patients and 20 for maintenance patients currently taking or recently having taken GLP-1 treatment, with the clinician also considering medical history. These are Enhance.MD’s stated criteria, not individualized eligibility advice. Cash-pay terms exclude billing to federal or state healthcare programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. The reviewed documentation does not establish private-insurance reimbursement or what supporting paperwork might be available.

Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express; gift cards, preloaded credit cards and FSA/HSA cards are excluded. For administrative questions, the site lists 1-888-299-5088 and support@enhance.md, with hours Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. EDT, and weekends, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. EDT. These are published support hours, not a promise of immediate clinical response. Spanish-language clinical care or support is not confirmed in the reviewed pages.

Contract clarity cannot substitute for product evidence

Core’s page discloses that its compounded formulation is not FDA approved, requires a prescription and demonstrated clinical need, and is intended for patients under active prescriber care. It also states that compounding follows federal Section 503A guidelines. Those are product disclosures and provider representations; they do not mean FDA has approved Enhance.MD, its pharmacy partners or the formulation. Approval applies to a specific drug product, not a subscription service.

FDA explains that compounded preparations do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. Nonapproval alone does not establish clinical inequivalence. FDA recommends compounded drugs when an individual’s medical needs cannot be met by an approved drug, with a prescription and a state-licensed pharmacy. Evidence about approved medicines should not automatically be transferred to Enhance.MD’s compounded products, combination formulation or microdosing program. Clear contractual terms cannot resolve those clinical evidence gaps.

Shipping assurances also need a practical boundary. FDA explicitly recommends not using an injectable GLP-1 product that arrives warm or inadequately refrigerated and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy. The reviewed Enhance.MD documentation does not supply formulation-specific temperature limits or establish a replacement policy for that situation. Before payment, request both the handling instructions and the financial remedy for an unusable shipment. Our refund-boundaries guide explains why replacement and reimbursement should be asked about separately.

Questions & answers

Can I buy Core at $212 on the four-week plan?

Not according to the published plan grid. The $212/mo Core rate belongs to the plan labeled 12-month, billed every 48 weeks. The one-month option is listed at $249/mo, billed every four weeks, with $50 off the first order. Confirm the actual first charge and renewal charge at checkout rather than treating the homepage’s lowest rate as the short-plan price.

Sources: [3] [4]
Does Enhance.MD guarantee a prescription after payment?

No. The platform expressly says payment does not guarantee prescribing or dispensing. The FAQ places payment before the virtual clinical meeting, and treatment depends on the clinician’s decision. Core’s onboarding guarantee promises the initial payment back if the applicant is found ineligible for its formulation; save the applicable guarantee and ask how it applies to the product you select.

Sources: [4] [5] [3]
Will canceling return unused subscription money?

The reviewed documentation does not establish that. The terms require cancellation before the next billing cycle to avoid automatic renewal, but do not explain prorated refunds for longer plans. The documented onboarding-ineligibility guarantee is a separate promise. Ask for the rule covering your remaining paid period, pending pharmacy orders and any cancellation-related charges before selecting a longer billing interval.

Sources: [7] [3]
Can I use my own pharmacy without changing the price?

The FAQ allows a prescription to be sent to a pharmacy of your choice, but says that pharmacy will bill you directly for medication. That is not the same arrangement as included medication through the partner network. The reviewed pages do not clarify what portion of the Enhance.MD subscription remains payable, so request a revised written quote before choosing that route.

Sources: [5]
Are laboratory results available in one or two days?

The FAQ estimates approximately one to two business days after the laboratory appointment for Enhance.MD to receive results and place them in the dashboard. It then describes an email invitation to schedule the video consultation. That estimate is not a promise of consultation availability, clinical approval, pharmacy dispatch or medication arrival within the same period.

Sources: [5]
What should I ask Enhance.MD to confirm before paying?

Request the selected formulation, first charge, later charge, billing interval, next renewal date, cancellation method and refund terms. Also ask which medical group and pharmacy will serve you, whether laboratory testing precedes consultation, and what happens financially if treatment stops. These questions address documented differences between the general FAQ, product pages and terms—not an assumption that any one page supplies the complete agreement.

Our assessment

Enhance.MD documents meaningful subscription inclusions, multiple treatment offerings, laboratory arrangements, contact channels and an onboarding-ineligibility refund promise. Its price grids also let shoppers distinguish the short option from lower advertised rates tied to longer billing intervals. The contractual weakness is reconciliation: general 28-day renewal language, longer product billing schedules, differing pharmacy lists and unavailable final checkout terms leave important obligations unsettled. A prospective customer should obtain a written, product-specific explanation of the first charge, next renewal, cancellation mechanics and treatment-interruption policy before paying. That would make the purchase easier to evaluate without mistaking bundled services, dose-price promises or commercial tier descriptions for guaranteed prescribing, refunds or clinical results.
