WellMeDr / welludr. Review: What the GLP-1 Contract Does—and Does Not—Promise

Wellmedr.com advertises GLP-1 consultations and promotional medication plans, but its public documents disagree on billing intervals, included medication, cancellation deadlines and refunds. Here is what to clarify before paying.

A low advertised monthly price is not the most important number in WellMeDr’s enrollment documents. The more consequential details are when another charge can occur, whether medication is included, and how far a pharmacy order has progressed when you cancel. Public pages consulted October 19, 2026, describe monthly offers, a separate 21-day renewal model and prepaid terms. They also give conflicting accounts of cancellation and refund rights. Those differences deserve resolution before checkout, not after a renewal or shipment.

The website uses WellMeDr and welludr. branding, while its terms identify Wellmedr LLC and affiliates as the platform operator. It documents a GLP-1 consultation service, with independent clinicians making treatment decisions and outside pharmacies handling prescriptions. This review examines that contractual arrangement rather than treating promotional language as a complete purchase agreement. The central question is practical: can a prospective customer obtain one written explanation of the exact plan, charges, responsibilities and exit conditions that will apply to their purchase?

At a glance

Payment precedes approval
The policy says checkout payment is collected before clinical review, with an automatic full initial-payment refund within seven business days if the initial clinician does not approve treatment.
Sources: [10]
Different billing clocks
Advertising describes monthly plans with shipments every four weeks; the policy separately describes a plan renewing every 21 calendar days.
Sources: [7] [10]
Medication inclusion is conditional
The terms exclude medication from membership unless checkout states otherwise and describe a separately billed medication plan.
Sources: [8]
Cancellation documents conflict
The policy makes cancellation effective upon receipt; the terms require at least two days’ notice before renewal and describe an end-of-period effective date.
Sources: [10] [8]
Separate service responsibilities
WellMedr describes itself as a technology and nonclinical support company, not the entity practicing medicine, prescribing, compounding or dispensing.
Sources: [3]

Start with the agreement, not the advertised month

Wellmedr LLC’s terms establish a platform relationship, not a promise that the company itself will deliver medical care. Independent medical groups employ or contract with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other clinicians. The consulted passage does not name those groups. The branding relationship between welludr., WellMeDr and the legal operator is also unexplained. Before paying, ask which entity will appear on the charge and which medical group will be responsible for care.

The allocation of responsibility matters because checkout payment does not guarantee a prescription. The policy says the selected plan price is collected so intake and the order can be processed; a licensed clinician then decides whether treatment is appropriate. Depending on checkout disclosures, the purchased services may include clinical review, follow-up, care-team support and medication when prescribed. That conditional description should not be read as a universal medication-inclusive package.

The terms also say membership does not replace comprehensive primary care or include medical and wellness services unrelated to weight loss. Someone attracted by the website’s broader wellness catalog should establish which agreement covers each service. Our guide to reading enrollment terms before paying provides a useful framework, but the immediate task here is provider-specific: obtain the checkout disclosures and an explanation of which document governs when the public pages disagree.

The advertised prices do not identify one complete plan

A promotional landing page advertises pre-Black Friday semaglutide at $49 per month and tirzepatide at $89 per month. Its individual cards qualify those amounts as “Starting At” and describe shipments every four weeks. The homepage presents compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as prescription injection options, but the advertising does not establish the exact formulation, presentation or quantity attached to each low price. Nor does it connect those prices to the policy’s 21-day plan.

The same landing page advertises Ozempic starting at $1,399 and Zepbound starting at $1,599 in month-to-month plans, including licensed-provider review, ongoing medical oversight and a medical weight-care coach. The passages do not establish supplied quantities or exact recurring charges. Another statement on that page describes the offering as exclusively compounded GLP-1s, leaving branded-product availability unresolved. These advertisements are documented offers, not confirmation that every listed product can actually be obtained.

Other promotions add further uncertainty: the homepage advertises 50% off the first month for compounded tirzepatide without showing that block’s base or subsequent price. The landing page promises new customers “$150 off for Life” and no long-term commitments, without explaining the calculation or offer combinations. Ask for the first charge and every subsequent charge in writing. A discount description is not a demonstrated price lock, and the public documentation does not establish a patient-specific total.

Separate billing intervals from shipment intervals

WellMeDr’s policy explicitly says its 21-Day Plan renews every 21 calendar days, not monthly. It states that continuous enrollment can produce up to 18 charges during the first 365 days, including checkout. That is materially different from the landing page’s monthly wording and four-week shipping schedule. The documents do not establish that the promotional prices apply to this plan. Readers should not combine an advertised price with a separate policy’s cadence and assume the result describes an actual offer.

The policy also describes three-, six- and twelve-month plans paid in full at checkout. A displayed per-month figure for these plans is an arithmetic equivalent, not monthly installments. Automatic renewal requires separate, affirmative enrollment; without it, the plan ends after its paid term. With it, renewal is for the same plan length at the disclosed price. These distinctions illustrate why a monthly price can conceal a different commitment.

For six-month renewals, the policy describes collection generally ten days before the current term ends; for twelve-month renewals, generally fifteen days before. The exact date should be disclosed at checkout. Both may be fulfilled in batches of up to a three-month supply, so paying for a long term does not mean receiving the entire term’s medication immediately. Ask separately about the payment date, term start, shipment schedule and quantities authorized for each batch.

The public documents describe several different clocks

Medication, membership and insurance are separate questions

The terms state that membership ordinarily excludes medication unless checkout says otherwise. Medication is billed through a separate medication plan, and an active membership may be required to start or continue it. That language limits the broader impression created by promotional medication-inclusive plans. A useful quote would identify every membership and medication charge, rather than leaving the customer to infer that one advertised number covers both. It should also explain which follow-up services belong to each charge.

Shipping deserves the same treatment. The landing page advertises free delivery, while the terms allow shipping charges disclosed at checkout. Neither statement should be silently discarded. Ask whether your selected product and destination qualify for included shipping and whether any separate charge applies. The reviewed pages do not establish a universal total covering taxes, transport and all services. Free shipping, where offered, does not make clinical care or medication free.

This is a cash-pay service under the terms. Wellmedr and the medical groups do not participate in or bill commercial insurers, Medicare, Medicaid or other federal or state healthcare programs. Customers accept financial responsibility outside those arrangements, and the service does not describe submitting reimbursement claims. This is a billing boundary, not evidence that every insured person is barred from enrollment. Confirm any personal coverage question separately rather than assuming a prescription will make the platform charge reimbursable.

Cancellation has two incompatible descriptions

The cancellation policy offers a comparatively clear receipt-based process. It says cancellation becomes effective when the system receives an online request, email, telephone request or voicemail. No retention conversation or administrative approval is required. Online and email submissions receive an immediate automated receipt, followed by final confirmation within one business day. Those details make the timestamp and acknowledgment important records, particularly when a charge or pharmacy order is approaching.

The terms, however, require cancellation at least two days before the scheduled renewal date, measured from the originally scheduled date even if a charge or shipment is processed early. They say otherwise the subscription renews, and describe cancellation as effective at the end of the current billing period. That is not the same rule as immediate effectiveness upon receipt. The consulted documents do not resolve which provision would govern a particular purchase.

Before enrollment, ask WellMeDr to reconcile both the deadline and effective date in writing, including how an early prepaid renewal charge changes the practical cutoff. If already enrolled, preserve the request, receipt, next charge date and response; do not assume a phone conversation alone resolves every issue. Our explanation of cancellation notice and renewal timing helps distinguish stopping future renewal from stopping an order already moving through pharmacy fulfillment. Neither action automatically establishes a refund.

Refund eligibility turns on more than cancellation

The policy promises an automatic full refund of the initial checkout payment within seven business days if the initial clinician does not approve treatment. That is a refund-processing promise, not a guarantee of the date funds will appear at a bank. Other documents complicate the picture: the terms describe discretionary refunds and a nonrefundable first membership month, while the FAQ directs customers toward telephone review after initial rejection. Written clarification is needed before relying on the most favorable version.

For medication orders, the policy defines “Medication Fulfillment Start” as the pharmacy’s documented beginning of preparation, compounding, filling or dispensing a patient-specific prescription. Electronic receipt, routing or administrative acceptance alone does not qualify. This distinction makes a pharmacy’s actual work record more consequential than a generic order-status label. If a refund is denied on fulfillment grounds, ask what activity began, when it began and which order or batch the documentation concerns.

For prepaid early termination, the policy allocates an equal share of the actual total price to each month. Future-month shares can be refundable where no corresponding order or batch reached fulfillment start, less separately disclosed services already completed for those months. It says completed months will not be repriced upward or their original discount clawed back. A landing-page 90-day results-linked guarantee should not be treated as unconditional: the policy denies guaranteed results and imposes fulfillment-related refund limits. Read refund guarantees and exclusions together.

Clinical approval and pharmacy fulfillment remain conditional

Enrollment requires being at least 18, or the state’s higher age of majority, and being in a location where service is offered. The availability page claims clinical coverage across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Guam, based on physical location during care. The terms additionally require the consultation location to match the state of the account’s shipping address. These are documented provider conditions, not independent verification of individual clinician licenses or universal medication availability.

Intake asks about health and current medications. A clinician may request more information, testing, a live visit or in-person care. Recurring online check-ins address progress, side effects and continued eligibility; missing required check-ins can lead to a paused or discontinued prescription. Those clinical conditions are distinct from paying renewal charges. The public documentation does not provide complete admission criteria or guarantee a general clinical-review or response timeframe.

The availability page lists Logos RX, Emerald Compounding Pharmacy and Center City Pharmacy; the terms additionally list Red Rock Home Pharmacy and authorize transfers among the named pharmacies. Not every medication can be dispensed to every state. Customers may request an outside-pharmacy transfer through support@wellmedr.com, then obtain and pay for the product directly there. Ask what happens to platform charges after a transfer. Shipping follows approval and pharmacy processing; a dispatch estimate is not an arrival guarantee.

Product descriptions and support channels need their own checks

WellMeDr documents consultations for GLP-1, NAD, B12 and sermorelin. Its homepage also describes an “Energy & Focus+ Microdose” compounded semaglutide injection formulated with NAD+ and vitamin B12, without confirming actual availability. The institutional page says erectile-dysfunction, testosterone and hair-loss services are not yet available or accepting enrollment, despite broader homepage promotion. Do not assume one advertised product’s availability, contract or price extends to another. Exact NAD, B12 and sermorelin formulations and routes remain unconfirmed.

The provider warns that compounded medications are not FDA approved and that formulations, concentrations, supplies, storage requirements and beyond-use dates may vary. FDA likewise says compounded preparations lack premarket review and recommends them when an individual’s medical needs cannot be met by an approved drug. Nonapproval alone does not prove clinical inequivalence. Approval belongs to a specific product, not this platform. FDA advises not using injectable GLP-1 medication that arrives warm or insufficiently refrigerated and contacting the provider or pharmacy.

For treatment and prescription questions, the FAQ directs patients to portal chat; billing, refunds, cancellation, orders and delivery go to customer service at 1-888-397-6905. Published administrative hours conflict: the policy says Monday–Saturday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m. Eastern, while the terms list 8 a.m.–8 p.m. The policy gives a St. Petersburg, Florida, business address. Accessibility help can be requested by phone without a portal account, including through a relay service. Emergency care is outside the service; its FAQ says not to wait for a portal response.

Questions & answers

Does paying WellMeDr guarantee I will receive medication?

No. The selected plan is charged before clinical review, and a licensed clinician determines whether treatment is appropriate. Additional information, testing or another type of visit may be required. The policy promises an automatic full initial-payment refund within seven business days if the initial clinician declines treatment, but the terms and FAQ describe refund handling differently. Ask for written confirmation of the applicable rejection-and-refund process before paying.

Sources: [10] [2] [8]
Are the $49 and $89 offers charged every 21 days?

The consulted documentation does not establish that connection. The promotional semaglutide and tirzepatide cards advertise starting-at monthly prices and four-week shipments. Separately, the policy describes a 21-calendar-day renewal plan. Before authorizing payment, request the actual initial charge, next charge, renewal interval and shipment cadence for the offer in your checkout. Four weeks, 21 days and a calendar month are different periods.

Sources: [7] [10]
Will a prepaid plan automatically renew?

Under the policy, only if you separately and affirmatively enroll in automatic renewal at checkout. Otherwise, the plan ends after its paid term. If you enroll, the next full-term charge may be collected before that term begins. Six-month renewal collection is generally ten days before expiration; twelve-month collection is generally fifteen days before. The exact disclosed charge date matters more than an assumption that renewal happens on the final day.

Sources: [10]
Can I cancel immediately and get all my money back?

The documents do not support that blanket conclusion. The policy makes cancellation effective upon receipt, while the terms require at least two days’ notice before renewal and describe end-of-period cancellation. Refund eligibility is a separate question involving initial clinical rejection, completed services and pharmacy fulfillment. Prepaid future-month refunds depend on whether the relevant medication orders or batches have begun fulfillment. Obtain confirmation of both cancellation and any refund determination.

Can I use a pharmacy outside WellMeDr’s network?

The terms allow it if a prescription is issued. Request a transfer through support@wellmedr.com; you then become responsible for obtaining the medication and paying the outside pharmacy directly. That option does not establish that every pharmacy can fill every preparation or that platform membership charges disappear. Ask how transferring affects your medication plan, remaining prepaid balance and ongoing clinical follow-up before arranging it.

Sources: [8] [5]
Who should I contact about a disputed charge or delivery problem?

The FAQ assigns billing, refunds, plan changes, cancellation, orders and delivery to customer service at 1-888-397-6905. Portal chat is designated for prescription and treatment questions. The policy asks customers to report delivery problems within seven calendar days while preserving certain rights for defects discovered later. Keep the order information and communications. For a warm or inadequately refrigerated injectable GLP-1 delivery, FDA advises not using it and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy.

Our assessment

WellMeDr documents a recognizable telehealth access arrangement, meaningful clinical checkpoints, pharmacy choice and a comparatively specific prepaid-refund formula. Those are useful disclosures. Its central contractual weakness is that the documents do not tell one consistent story: monthly advertising sits beside 21-day billing, medication-inclusive promotions beside membership exclusions, and receipt-based cancellation beside a two-day notice requirement. The refund language also varies. A prospective customer should seek a written, checkout-specific explanation covering total charges, renewal consent, included medication, cancellation timing and pharmacy fulfillment boundaries. Without that reconciliation, the lowest advertised price is an incomplete basis for enrollment. Clearer terms would improve purchase predictability, but would not by themselves establish clinical outcomes or suitability for an individual.
